DHL expands its "possessions" to the south of Moscow region
DHL, the world leader in logistics services, has made another step towards the expansion of its premises by signing a lease agreement with MLP, the owner of warehouse complex in Podolsk. The interests of the tenant were represented by CBRE, a leader in the field of commercial real estate.
DHL has added 11,600 square meters. m of leasable area in the logistics park in Pushkino to its 70,000 square meters of warehouse space in the warehouse complex of Class A in Podolsk, located 17 km from the Moscow Ring Road and about 20 km from the second largest cargo airport in the capital, Domodedovo. Today only the first phase of this large-scale park with the total area of 115 thousand sq. m. is still in operation, and was commissioned back in 2007. The total area of the warehouse complex is 204 thous. sq. m.
Lance Pilant, CBRE Russia's Industrial and Warehousing Director, said: "This transaction was especially important for our company - we consult DHL on a global scale. We were faced with the challenge of finding the optimal high-end facility which would meet our client's exacting standards. We can say with confidence that we have managed to offer DHL high-class office space in the south of Moscow region - a strategically important area, which will help the company to further develop in the field of logistics services".
